Arbonne began 36 yrs ago In the Alpine fields of Switzerland by Petter Morck. Petters vision was to create skincare and health and wellness products that were botanically based and results driven, pure, safe and beneficial blending the best of science and nature together. He wanted to couple this with a business model to allow women to build extraordinary lives for themselves and their families. A unique opportunity to help them thrive. He believed the world would be a better place with more women millionaires…I have to agree!!!
My Arbonne journey began in june 2009. I have always been self employed which I love and considered a good option as it meant I could be at home to look after children when they came along but I soon saw the reality of being self employed…no holiday pay, no maternity pay and you are married to your work! I realised that if I wanted a work life balance and more time with my family in the future something needed to change. I was also looking for something, I didn’t know what it was but I had a burning desire to create something that I could be proud of. That I could look back at say ‘I did that, for me and my family’. I began building my Arbonne business part time around my full time self employed career and life! Within 18 months my income from Arbonne was large enough for me to be able to retire from working full time and continue to build my Arbonne business part time. My life almost 7 yrs on is unrecognisable. I work with many mums who are looking to gain back their identity, build a financial wall around them and their children and create a legacy. Nothing is more rewarding than doing that!

The anti ageing line has clinically proven visible results in 24 hours! What is really important also is what isn’t in the products. We are free from the nasties that people are now realising can be damaging to the skin and body. Our baby care line is perfect for delicate newborn skin and there is something for everyone. We all shower every day, we all use products on a daily basis so as a consultant all I have done is swap my own household personal care products to Arbonne. I then teach others to benefit from the product or the business. With the business, I show people how to build their own successful Arbonne business on a part time basis that over time can lead to a full time income. As a consultant I view myself as a solution provider. I listen to peoples needs and see where Arbonne could be a fit for them. The reality is we all use products on a daily basis. The basics of a good business are having a consumable product that runs out that people need for the rest of their lives. As soon as I understood that the penny really dropped! When I then researched the fact that Arbonne sits on every single mega trend of today – health and wellness which is the next $trillion industry, network marketing which is booming and is being advocated as the business model of the 21st century by the likes of Robert Kiyosaki (financial guru), Warren Buffet and Alan Sugar who has started his own network marketing company in the health and wellness industry, coupled with the fact that in this day and age we are all looking for a better work life balance, more income, more choices in life and internet/ home based businesses, I knew I had found something special in Arbonne that could help not only me but so many others
We are looking to meet open minded, positive women who are ready to make a positive change in their life and are coachable. The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that it is your own business but you are never by yourself so we provide women with a wealth of training, support, mentoring and home study information for free. Something that definitely doesn’t come with a traditional business! I base the success I have had on this amazing mentoring and the skills and knowledge I have gained have helped me in many situations In my life, improved my self esteem and built my confidence. I am there to help other women gain exactly that and then some! My life is so much richer (not just In terms of my bank balance!) in all areas thanks to Arbonne and the people I have been able to surround myself with in this company. A volunteer army of like minded individuals who are all on the same path, wanting to create a better life for themselves and others. You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with and you won’t find a more positive, driven, caring bunch of people than Arbonne consultants!

My top 3 tips for business ambitious mums:
1) Surround yourself with like minded people. It is easy to lose vision and belief when you are surrounded with people who do not see what you see. Unfortunately sometimes our nearest and dearest can be the ones who do not see the vision that we have for the future. Make sure you have a circle of people that are visionaries and want to help you succeed.
2)- Get a mentor. Don’t feel you have to know everything about everything! Having a mentor is like having a road map and a cheer leader all in one. In Arbonne you get a mentor as soon as you become a consultant and I know if I hadn’t have had that along with a simple system for success I would not be where I am today. As women we often feel we have to do everything ourselves. If you follow a system for success, half of the work is done! You don’t have to try and reinvent wheels, come up with the genius business plan etc. If it has been done by someone before, you just need to follow what they have done.
3)- Just do it!!! Kind of obvious but action is the key. There is no point visiting exhibitions, researching and then doing nothing. Go for it! Know that you can do it, work harder on yourself than you do your business. Success is a mindset game and belief is vital. The more you can build your confidence by reading entrepreneurial, personal development and business books the better. My business boomed when I started to read books! I dedicate 30 mins a day to reading as I go by the philosophy ‘Everyone can teach me something, everything can teach me something’ There are thousands of people just like you who have achieved immense success, if they can, so can you!

Emma who is one of the success stories is now a mum and has been able to have her husband home for 4 months when first giving birth thanks to her Arbonne business. I also have an immense lady in my business who has 7 children ranging from 4 months old to 23yrs old. She has in 7 months reached a level of success in Arbonne where her business is now willable and the average income is approx £1000 per month.
